Background of the Opening
With the industrial park business performing strongly and generating 80–100 inquiries per year, new market entries by Japanese-affiliated companies are leveling off, while demand for expansion projects and second factories from companies already operating in Vietnam—as well as inquiries from Chinese- and Vietnamese-owned companies—is increasing.
At present, only one person is able to handle projects end-to-end, making it difficult to keep pace, and this position is being opened as an additional hire to support the company’s growth.
Please note that this is not a managerial position with direct reports. Rather, it is a “Project Leader” in a functional sense—someone who moves projects forward by engaging stakeholders both inside and outside the company.
Responsibilities
1. End-to-end handling of industrial park projects
Take consistent ownership from client development and inquiry response through to coordination with developers, including projects for the Vietnamese operations of Japanese-affiliated companies
Respond to inquiries from Vietnamese and non-Japanese-affiliated companies (from Taiwan, China, Korea, and elsewhere)
2. Building alliances and relationships with external partners
Propose and conclude agency agreements with industrial park developers
Establish special partnerships with local financial institutions (including M&A-related exit deals)
3. Handling specialized inquiries
Respond to technical questions about industrial parks, such as water, electricity, ground conditions, and drawings (answers are provided after consulting external experts)
4. Management of success-fee contracts
Manage and drive success-fee-based contracts
5. Business trips and site visits
Industrial park site visits roughly two to three times per month (Hai Phong, Da Nang, and other locations)
