Background of This Position
The Da Nang development site, a digital lab opened in 2023, is responsible for developing applications provided by Japan HQ.
Several engineers currently on the team speak only Vietnamese, and management of local staff currently relies on support from IT communicators. In addition, the Japanese manager based in Da Nang also concurrently oversees the Mongolia site, creating a shortage of management capacity.
Against this backdrop, we are looking for a new team member who can manage the development team while maintaining smooth communication with Japan HQ.
Job Description
1. Development (approx. 70%)
Primarily responsible for developing applications provided by Japan HQ
Determines and implements AI usage and development direction as needed
2. Coordination with Japan HQ
Reports project progress to Japan HQ
Participates in meetings with Japan HQ
3. Management of Outsourcing Partner
Manages the outsourcing partner (Rikkei)
4. Recruitment and Development of In-House Engineers
Recruits, trains, and develops engineers
5. AI Utilization and Operational Improvement
Drives operational improvement by applying AI expertise
Requirements
◆ Required
Japanese: Business level
5+ years of development experience (any programming language)
3+ years of management experience
Working knowledge of AI, with the ability to apply it to operational improvement
Working Conditions & Benefits
Location:
Da Nang Office
Chi nhánh Đà Nẵng: 35 Thái Phiên, Phường Hải Châu
Working Hours: 8:00–17:00, Monday–Friday
Days Off: Two full days off per week
Probation Period: 2 month (85% Salary)
Salary: USD 2,000–3,000 (Gross/month), negotiable based on ability and experience
Other Allowances: To be confirmed (training or transfer to Japan HQ may also be considered in the future)
