- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate Governance & Hands-on Leadership
- Strategic Oversight: Hold overall accountability for corporate governance across HR, Accounting, and Legal.
- Japan-Vietnam Bridge: Act as the primary contact for Japan HQ; translate global policies into compliant, practical local operations.
- Active Involvement: Lead specialized teams through close engagement. Be ready to perform operational tasks independently (e.g., payroll checks, journal entries) during peak periods or staff shortages.
- Risk Management: Proactively manage legal and operational risks, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Departmental Operations
| HR Operations (Labor, C&B, Policy & Evaluation)
- Governance: Oversee payroll governance, statutory compliance, and C&B administration (using “Base” system).
- Policy Design: Continuously improve performance evaluation processes and HR rules (working hours, leave, disciplinary actions).
- Employee Lifecycle: Support onboarding, offboarding, and contract renewals from a risk perspective.
- Labor Relations: Monitor labor law changes and act as an escalation point for audits, inspections, or complex employee cases.
- Collaboration: Work with TA/HRBP teams to ensure a smooth transition from hiring to onboarding.
| Accounting & Financial Control
- Accuracy & Reliability: Oversee accounting operations with a focus on internal controls using “Multibook”.
- Closing Management: Work hands-on with internal staff and external BPO vendors during monthly/annual closing.
- HQ Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to Japan HQ and resolve any reporting gaps.
- Data Provisioning: Enable budgeting processes by providing reliable financial data (without owning the strategy/formulation).
| Legal
- Legal Oversight: Supervise in-house legal staff and manage relationships with external legal counsel.
- Contract Management: Oversee the review, archiving, and management of all company agreements.
- Compliance: Monitor regulatory updates and guide departments to ensure all practices remain legally sound.
Process Improvement & Standardization
- Identify inefficiencies and control gaps within current workflows.
- Design and implement scalable, practical back-office processes that balance growth with compliance.
- REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 10–15+ years in corporate operations, back-office management, or governance-related roles.
- Expertise: Solid hands-on experience in HR labor operations, accounting oversight, and legal coordination.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of Vietnamese Labor Law, Tax/Accounting regulations, and legal frameworks.
- Communication: Fluent in Vietnamese and Business-level English. Japanese proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Bridge Capability: Proven ability to negotiate and explain Vietnamese business customs/regulations to Japan HQ to gain buy-in.
- Industry: Experience in IT or Software Development companies (growth/scale-up phase) is preferred.

- COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary: Gross 110,000,000 – 120,000,000 VND.
- Probation: 2 months (100% salary).
