In this role, you will play a vital part in leading the development and performance optimization of enterprise applications. You will also mentor team members and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain high-performance web applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Ensure applications are highly available, secure, and responsive.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient use of system resources.
Write and maintain unit/integration tests (e.g., using JUnit), conduct code reviews, and maintain high development standards.
Lead and mentor a development team of 3–10 members, promoting collaborative teamwork.
Work closely with DevOps, QA, and Product Management to align technical and business goals.
System design knowledge (especially in System Architecture) is a plus.
We are seeking a candidate who combines strong technical capabilities with leadership and communication skills:
Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
Proficient in Java, Spring Framework (Boot, Cloud, Security).
Experience with front-end technologies: VueJS or ReactJS.
Solid grasp of OOP, software design patterns, and complex problem-solving.
Familiar with:
Hibernate, JPA
RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture
Docker/Kubernetes
Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
Ability to analyze and evaluate existing systems and translate Japanese business documents into technical requirements.
Strong leadership and team management skills (3–10 team members).
Good communication and documentation skills.
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Japanese Language: N2 or higher (required for client communication).
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (JST)
