Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and analyzing financial statements (including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Budget), ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting regulation.
Implement robust cost accounting systems to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
Managing day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and expense management.
Ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations (work with outsource partners), including timely submission of tax declarations and preparation of statutory financial statements.
Developing and maintaining internal control procedures, coordinating with external auditors, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Mentoring and managing a team of accountants, fostering a high-performance environment, and ensuring the team’s professional development.
Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Managing cash flow, preparing cash flow forecasts, and ensuring efficient cash management.
As assigned by CEO, including participation in special projects and initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant in multinational companies
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial reporting, and analysis.
Excellent leadership and management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Good at English is often required, especially for global e-commerce companies with international operations.
Professional accounting certifications (e.g., CPA) are often preferred.
