What’s the role?
As a Test Engineer in HERE Professional Services – Global Solution Engineering, you will be responsible to perform manual and hardware based testing for customer projects in various industries, including Automotive, Transports and Logistics. This role also involves managing and driving all aspects of handling the Customer Hardware/Devices.
Key Responsibilities
Test Development and Execution
• Exhibit strong expertise in the design and development of manual test cases, including integration, acceptance, and performance testing.
• Analyze project requirements and user acceptance criteria to translate user stories into well-defined and actionable test cases.
• Plan, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test suites to ensure coverage and traceability.
• Perform Hardware and/or Emulator-based Manual Testing.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and issues arising from major enhancements or minor change requests.
• Good to have : Develop automated test scripts using Python or other relevant automation frameworks such as Java.
Technical Collaboration and Communication
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the system architecture and actively contribute to test case reviews and other Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) activities.
• Effectively communicate complex technical issues and solutions to a broad range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
• Provide accurate time estimates for the design and implementation of new or updated test scenarios and cases.
Who are you?
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably with a specialization or background in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on hardware/emulator-based manual testing.
Working time: Hybird (~2 days in office) – Monday to Friday
Working location: TechnoPark Tower – Hanoi
