- WHAT YOU WILL DO
Product Ownership:
- Define and own the roadmap for key features or game areas, ensuring alignment with product goals.
- Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage the backlog to prioritize the highest-impact features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure features are implemented on time and at a high quality.
Game Development & Strategy:
- Work closely with the Product Lead to shape the overall game vision and strategy.
- Contribute to designing innovative gameplay loops, hybrid monetization systems, and engagement mechanics.
- Act as a mentor to Junior Product Owners and other team members, providing guidance and support.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Use analytics and player feedback to inform decisions and optimize features for retention, engagement, and monetization.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to design and evaluate A/B tests for new features and updates.
- Identify key metrics and set success criteria for features and updates.
LiveOps & Player Engagement:
- Help plan and execute LiveOps strategies, including events, seasonal updates, and new content releases.
- Partner with marketing teams to align player acquisition and retention initiatives with product goals.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or a related role in the gaming industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of hybrid-casual games and their unique gameplay and monetization mechanics.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to document and track progress effectively.
- Mindset: Passion for gaming and a player-focused mindset.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools like JIRA or Trello.
- Experience working on hybrid-casual or mobile games.
- Exposure to game analytics and performance metrics like retention and ARPU.
