Title: In-house Accountant
Department: Finance & Accounting
Reports to: Finance Manager / Country Manager
Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS) and local regulations
Record daily accounting transactions and ensure proper documentation
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Perform monthly closing and ensure timely reconciliation of:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Receivable/Payable (AR/AP)
Fixed assets
Intercompany balances (if applicable)
Prepare internal management reports as required
Monitor and manage daily/monthly cash flow
Handle bank accounts and execute payment transactions
Support basic cash flow forecasting and planning
Execute intercompany funding transactions (if any)
Ensure compliance with Vietnamese foreign exchange and remittance regulations
Independently prepare and submit tax filings (VAT, CIT, PIT, WHT, etc.)
Monitor tax deadlines and ensure full compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations
Prepare annual tax finalization reports
Work directly with tax authorities for explanations, audits, and inspections
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
Prepare accounting documents and schedules for audits (if applicable)
Act as the main contact point for external auditors (when required)
Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting and financial records
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting (general or in-house accounting preferred)
Strong knowledge of VAS and Vietnamese tax regulations
Ability to handle accounting and tax matters independently
Experience working with tax authorities and banks
Proficient in Excel and accounting software
Detail-oriented, reliable, and responsible
Good command of English (Korean is a plus, if relevant)
Full ownership of accounting and tax functions internally
Opportunity to work independently without reliance on external advisors
