Responsibilities
o Responsible for participating in the project as a DBA (Database Admin) including:
Building a database system for the project (database)
Devise a data migration strategy for the project, converting data between databases
Together with the Dev team, develop scripts to meet project requirements
Manage database environments used for projects, including non-production and production environments
Support Dev team and Tester with database issues during project implementation.
Provide configuration parameter standards and ensure they apply to all database environments
within the project
Ensure operational requirements for a database including: backup/restore, data archive, configuration parameters
Develop documents on parameters and operating instructions for the database
o Evaluate and optimize the project database to ensure performance and meet project requirements.
o Implement periodic statistical reports for management purposes.
o Build automation activities in operating and administering the system using code, minimizing
human operations.
o Convert database systems to the cloud and operate them.
Requirements
1. Qualifications
Degree: Graduated from University/College/TTDT majoring in IT or equivalent
Having international certificates in database management, cloud, and DevSecOps is an advantage.
Understanding of the field in charge: Understanding project processes and regulations related to operating IT systems, especially in the banking industry, is an advantage.
2. Experience:
Minimum 1-year experience in database administration, know how to install and upgrade database
systems on operating system platforms such as Linux, AIX, Window, onprems as well as oncloud
Experience working with open-source database systems such as PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
Having experience working on AWS cloud is an advantage

Foreign language: English is an advantage (can read and understand specialized documents)
