JOB DESCRIPTION

• We are seeking a commercially driven CEO to lead and scale Japan. This role is ideal for a sales-oriented executive with a strong network in the Japanese IT industry and proven experience growing an IT services or outsourcing business.

• The CEO will be responsible for driving revenue growth, acquiring strategic customers, developing partnerships, leading local teams, and representing Company in the Japanese market. You will own the Japan P&L and work closely with executive leadership to define long-term business strategy.

REQUIREMENT

Business Development & Sales Leadership

• Own the overall revenue and growth strategy for the Japan market.

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve ambitious business targets.

• Build and expand relationships with enterprise clients across Japan.

• Identify new business opportunities in IT Outsourcing, AI, Digital Transformation, Software Development, and Managed Services.

• Lead strategic account development and large enterprise sales.

• Participate in executive-level client meetings, negotiations, and contract discussions.

• Drive hunting activities while expanding existing customer accounts.

Market Expansion

• Develop long-term market expansion strategies for Japan.

• Build strategic partnerships with Japanese enterprises, SIers, consulting firms, and technology partners.

• Increase brand awareness through networking events, industry conferences, and executive engagement.

• Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer demands to identify growth opportunities.

Executive Leadership

• Lead and inspire the Japan business team.

• Build a high-performing sales organization.

• Recruit, coach, and develop future business leaders.

• Foster a high-performance and customer-centric culture.

• Collaborate with headquarters to align Japan strategy with global business objectives.

Customer Success

• Build trusted relationships with C-level executives.

• Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

• Resolve strategic customer issues and drive account expansion.

• Represent company as the executive sponsor for key clients.

Business Operations

• Own the Japan P&L, revenue, profitability, and business performance.

• Develop annual business plans and financial forecasts.

• Monitor business KPIs and operational excellence.

• Ensure compliance with Japanese regulations and corporate governance.

Collaboration with Vietnam Delivery Teams

• Work closely with Delivery Directors and Engineering Managers in Vietnam.

• Ensure customer expectations are translated into successful project delivery.

• Bridge communication between Japanese clients and offshore engineering teams.

• Improve delivery quality, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT Services, Software Development, IT Outsourcing, or Digital Transformation.

• At least 4 years in a senior leadership role such as Country Manager, Business Director, Sales Director, Managing Director, or CEO.

• Proven track record of consistently achieving multi-million-dollar sales targets.

• Strong experience selling IT Outsourcing or Software Development services to Japanese enterprises.

• Deep understanding of the Japanese IT market and customer landscape.

• Extensive network of decision-makers within Japanese corporations.

• Strong leadership, business management, and strategic planning capabilities.

• Experience managing P&L and business operations.

• Excellent negotiation and executive communication skills.

• Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2 or equivalent) and professional English communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in offshore development or global delivery models.

• Background in AI, Cloud, Digital Transformation, or Enterprise Software.

• Existing relationships with manufacturing, finance, healthcare, retail, or technology enterprises in Japan.

• Experience working in Vietnamese or multinational IT companies is highly preferred.

• MBA or equivalent business education is a plus.
