Background of Recruitment

We are hiring a successor to strengthen our M&A sourcing function, and we are recruiting one person for our Ho Chi Minh City office. In M&A sourcing, you will play an important role in meeting the acquisition needs of Japanese companies by approaching target companies and their management directly, building relationships with securities firms and M&A firms, and collecting deal information. The current person in charge will remain involved in the work, so after joining, you will learn the job with the support of the operations manual, local team members, and the current person in charge.

Job Description

1. Direct Approaches to Target Companies and Their Management:

Based on requests and acquisition needs from Japanese companies, research the location of target companies and points of contact with their management, and approach them directly by phone and other means.

2. Collecting Deal Information and Building Relationships:

Build connections with securities firms and M&A firms in Vietnam and collect deal information.

3. Dedicated M&A Sourcing Role and Internal Collaboration:

Work exclusively on M&A sourcing (there is currently no plan to assign concurrent work on other consulting projects), and advance the work in collaboration with local team members.

4. Support for Buyer Strategy and Target Company Search:

Opportunities to be involved from the formulation of a buyer's strategy through to the search for suitable target companies (depending on the status of each project).

Requirements

◆ Required Qualifications

Approximately 5 or more years of work experience as a guideline (to be judged flexibly based on experience and aptitude).
Japanese: Business level (negotiable for candidates with outstanding experience and initiative).
Experience in M&A or related fields (such as finance and consulting), or a certain level of understanding of business and finance.
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.

◆ Preferred Qualifications

Experience in dealing with M&A transactions, securities firms, or M&A firms, or in building relationships with them.
Work experience in consulting, finance, business development, or similar fields.
Business-level English communication skills.
Basic knowledge of finance (complete mastery is not required).

Interested in building expertise in the Vietnamese M&A market, which is expected to become more active and mature

Benefits

Work Location: 115 Nguyen Hue, Sai Gon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Salary: 39,000,000–65,000,000 VND (Gross/month), negotiable depending on experience and skills.
Salary Review: Once a year (evaluation around May, effective from June).
Bonus: Once a year (around December / based on individual performance evaluation, in principle equivalent to one month's salary).
Social Insurance: Enrollment in social insurance, health insurance, etc., in accordance with Vietnamese labor law (anticipated).
Other Allowances: Allowances, company trips, and company-provided items: To be confirmed.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday / Flexible working hours (start time: 8:00 or 9:00), 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home per week.
Holidays: Two-day weekend every week (Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays) (anticipated).
Annual Paid Leave: In accordance with Vietnamese labor law (anticipated).
Probation Period: 60 days (anticipated), Salary during the probation period: 85% of the regular salary.
