Job Description
1. New Product Launch:
Process design and process chart creation
Tool list creation
Work instruction creation
Jig design and fabrication
Program creation (CAD/CAM)
Machine setup, operation, and operator training.
2. Production Improvement for Repeat Orders:
Reviewing production processes and proposing and implementing improvements
Tool review and tool purchase requests,
Machine setup and operation.
3. Maintenance:
Management and maintenance of equipment and peripheral devices
Construction and repair work on factory electrical systems and other plant equipment.
4. Quotation Support:
Reviewing new quotation drawings for machinability and process planning
Equipment allocation, tooling, and jig planning,
Calculating machining or inspection time.
Requirements
◆ Required Qualifications
4+ years of hands-on experience in precision machining (milling, lathe work, wire EDM, etc.)
2+ years of experience managing a team or direct reports
Experience in production preparation work such as process design, jig design, and program creation (CAD/CAM)
Japanese language proficiency: JLPT N3 or equivalent (conversational level)
◆ Required Qualifications
Experience using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks (other CAD software also acceptable; CAM skills can be learned on the job)
Experience machining parts for the aerospace, medical device, or semiconductor industries
◆ Desired Candidate Profile
Someone who can lead a team and is enthusiastic about mentoring and developing junior staff
Someone who can adapt flexibly to high-mix, low-volume production (repeat orders account for 70-80% of output)
Someone with a management mindset who can work toward optimizing the organization as a whole and boosting team motivation
No specific educational background required (hands-on experience and track record are valued)
Benefits
Work Location: Long Binh (Amata) Industrial Park, Long Binh Ward, Dong Nai Province, Vietnam
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (every other Saturday)
Holidays: Saturdays (alternate weeks), Sundays, and public holidays
Annual Paid Leave: In accordance with Vietnamese labor law
Employment Type: Full-time employee (1-year employment contract after the probation period)
Probation Period: 2 months (salary during probation is 85% of base salary)
Salary: 25,000,000 – 35,000,000 VND (gross/month, including allowances)
Salary Review: Once a year (January), based on company and individual performance
Bonus: Paid based on company and individual performance (5-year average: 2.2 months’ salary)
Social Insurance: Social insurance, health insurance, and occupational accident insurance provided upon formal employment after the probation period (in accordance with Vietnamese labor law)
Other Allowances: Details will be shared through discussion and the official offer letter once an offer is extended
